Anybody have any thoughts about this one?
Block is run by Jack Dorsey (founder of Twitter) and increasingly, we are seeing more of their little square credit card reader devices out there, almost everywhere these days. Was a $250 stock two years ago, now in 50s.
Seems that retail solutions like Square have all kinds of room to grow.
Just starting to think about this one, and wondered if anybody out there had already done much homework . . .

I don't invest much in tech unless you count my semiconductor/AI bets like Nvidia and Marvell. I do invest some in crypto if you count blockchain tech, but most my investing is boring stuff like Sin stocks. I think I own a few shares in Mercadolibre and DLO, which are comparable payment companies to square, but not enough to really call them material investments. And I mostly bought those because I needed more international exposure that wasn't energy related.
To be honest, I haven't bought much of anything lately. The only investments I'm watching closely are my shares in CLMT and Bitcoin. I am thinking of adding to Melco if it continues pullback. Also thinking of maybe adding some Japanese banking shares given I expect the BOJ to start finally increasing rates.
