Ukraine vs the U.S. Infrastructure Bill

Remember the big Infrastructure bill in 2022. FINALLY! Infrastructure. One Of a series of Massive democrat-socialist spending bills that Republicans can get behind, and many did. It passed, and then, like the Obama care bill so many years ago, GOP Senators curled up in front of the fire and READ the bill. The verdict... 7% of the bill had gone toward actual "infrastructure" (roads, bridges, ports, waterways, electrical grids, airports, etc.). All the rest went toward green energy vote-getters and social-welfare. In the end, it turned out that spending on Ukraine has amounted to more than 2/3 of what the infrastructure bill spent on actual infrastructure! And all this is happening when America is running peacetime federal deficits that are the largest in U.S. history, and that's BEFORE Biden's teleprompter speech the other night saying that he needs hundreds of $billions more toward his wars. What Biden asked for for Gaza aid alone was 5 times what all of Gaza's Arab neighbors COMBINED offered in Gaza aid themselves. Do these Biden people think America is MADE of borrowed money?....... have I talked about the left's embrace of Modern Monetary Theory (MMT) lately?....... YES, the democrat-socialist party DOES think America is made of borrowed money, and incredibly, they don't think it matters at all.
