It increased from a huge $31.5 Trillion to a gigantic $32.5 Trillion since early June. Of course, the main reason was the lifting of the debt ceiling, after which they paid all of the overdue bills from many months of heavy government spending that the country can't afford. But it's still much worse than it has to be, thanks to the almost $10 Trillion of new spending Biden's handlers got passed before the GOP took the house back and stopped the spending malaise. The country is still marching toward a severe debt crisis and the mass bankruptcies and freefalling dollar that goes with such disasters. It's FAR more of a threat to America than global warming, yet a big part of Biden's handlers new deficit spending was directed toward electric cars and other environmental extremes that the country's electrical grid can't support without, you guessed it, MORE deficit spending to upgrade the grid in the future, probably about the time the national debt hits $40 Trillion!
