I am not sure this deserves its own thread. My uncle mentioned PLUG to me over the summer as he watched its debt offering get filled by every major underwriter very quickly (he is a big bond guy)
I purchased my shares ~8 bucks per share and have sold half of my position as it crossed over 55 dollars recently. It still seems like a very strong stock though it feels like it is in the heavy momentum phase now as Bjspokanimal talks about.
I am basically concerned that the power they are actually selling is costing them much more than they are receiving in revenue and when you start reading their disclosures, they seem to believe that alternative energy production of electricity, which they need to generate hydrogen is going to fall dramatically in price. If this does not come true they may be an air ball. Even their predictions of $200 million in profits in 2024 is not enough by any means against their current $25B market cap.
Seeing this has given me pause to think on the rest of my position as I tend to believe the cost of mining lithium and many other 'green' products r either partially or fully ignored by many right now and was wondering if anyone else was holding PLUG power or involved with other companies that seem to be hoping for cheaper energy input cost.
Thanks for taking the time and hopefully RIG and NOV have bright days ahead.

I’m going to opine... there are a lot of EV stocks and associated companies that are getting huge gains based on things that might happen 10 yrs from now. Be happy u made $$$. Don’t look back. Take the money and be happy.
There are so many people buying anything and everything related to EV ... that many high flyers will be worth zero soon!

Thank you for the input. I feel the same way especially after reading about needing cheaper energy inputs to be profitable (?!?!!?! where would cheaper inputs come from, I only see energy getting more expensive as India/China etc rise). Time to exit the rest of my position I think.
