Taxx, this board seems little better than the old Yahoo one that featured that crazy Tony character. This one has a GordonGekko character cheerleading for a market crash and thinking he can make that happen by posting a lot of negative comments. Sigh. (I wonder if Gekko = Tony?)

If you want to get ideas or are interested in penny stocks, the below sites give you ideas. Remember LVS was once a penny stock at $1.38. The people stocktwits site post a lot of cheap penny stocks some of which may be good and at times and run higher. Also there's a company called Tipranks on yahoo's finance page ( finance.yahoo.com/) that analyses/or post cheap stocks that seem to run higher at times. Bought 1 stock from Tipranks, sold it when it didn't look like it was going to run but its running, went from $0.40 to $0.57 so far. Some of the stocks have interesting stories on Tipranks, on stocktwits it seems for the mostnpart that people are pushing stock just because their cheap. I'm waiting for a market crash and may buy some of the penny stocks, all the peeny stocks these site have posted are Up none are Down?? I make a list of these stocks on ( www.msn.com/en-us/money/watchlist) and watch them daily.

I'd rather never utter the name 'Tony' ever again. Sort of like 'Beetlejuice' ... if you say it three times he comes out of his hole. That said, it could be him and he used to be a member this forum but he got banned here.

I've been pretty open about wanting the market to go down, but only because I have cash to put to work. I'm actually torn about the market direction. On one hand, I haven't sold all my March buys and wouldn't mind seeing them run a little higher before I sell. On the other hand, my main reason for wanting a pullback is because I'm thinking of doing a large ROTH conversion this year. I figure this may be the last time we see these low tax rates, so I've got 18 months or less to convert an old 401k. That being said, I wouldn't be shocked to see the socialist change the rules on ROTHs and eventually try to tax distributions. For example, if your ROTH grows above a target they deem..... too rich.
